1994 Blazer K5

Hi guys, what I want to do is make a replica of my dads 94 blazer K5. Is there any kind of kit or resin body or something i could use for this?

I have never seen a 94 Blazer where the back section comes off, just the earlier models, let alone a kit. If you find one, post it on here and let us know where you got it. That would be a cool kit.

Your best bet will probably be to use an AMT Tahoe kit and cut it down to size. I think someone made a resin body at one time (could be wrong, it is late!)but the Tahoe kit would be the way to go. It has those wheels, mirrors and grille and some simple cutting and gluing and you should be on your way.

Nice truck your Dad has there, I am guessing it has been painted as I don't remember that being a factory color.

You might have to try and find the 4dr Tahoe snap kit and cut it up into what you need, should evenhave the right grill in it already too!

I'd say go with the Tahoe kit, too. The 454 SS kit would work if you cut it down, but then you'd need to raid the '94-up grille from the '96 Dually kit. Cutting the Tahoe down into a Blazer shouldnt' be a tough job.

Now that I think of it, that Tahoe kit should have the proper wheels and matching smallish looking tires too.

thanks for the help guys, and yes this truck was painted orange and the back of it is all custom as these blazers never came with a removable top.
