Sam Cates Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 (edited) Well, this is the first chance I get to really use my new camera, flash won't work for some reason but this is as far as I have gone with this build so far. Got the body painted in Go Mango/Sublime lacquer Wheels are from a Polar Lights F/C kit, tires are from this kit Hoping to get more done in the next few days. Let me know what you think. Sam Cates Posted March 7, 2011 Author Posted March 7, 2011 Got a few decals on, cleaned up the paint lines a bit... May add a couple more decals not sure yet.
Draggon Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Nice paint! Makes me want to go to the store and pick up some sherbet........
Nick Notarangelo Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Nice color so far ,nice and clean, keep it up
Jantrix Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 flash won't work for some reason The paint and decals look fantastic. Love it. As for the flash, it's not recommended to use anyway when using the macro function. It's possible that your camera turns it off automaticaly when you select the function.
W-409 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Very nice work with the Willys! I love seeing wagons being built, and this is one of my favorites. I've been looking for MPC Snap Tite kit from Wagon Willys, but this is not a snaptite? Like the color combo, it looks great.
Erik Smith Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Nice paint! Makes me want to go to the store and pick up some sherbet........ For some reason "food stuff" came to my mind when I saw the colors too. Looks great so far - I like the color choices, not your every day sight. Thanks for posting!
spad007 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Looks Real nice.I am a fan of any truck and panels are cool. You said you might add some more decals . I would add something to the pass- doors as the graphics on the ride make it look a$$ heavy.
Sam Cates Posted April 12, 2011 Author Posted April 12, 2011 Finally got a little bit of work done on this kit, it might go back in the box for a bit, not sure.
