curt raitz Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Love it!! Dullcote buffs out really nice doesn't it
W-409 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Great looking Streetrod! I like that you are building great Old School HotRods one after one... These are looking great! This one has really nice engine, Buick Nailhead is one of my favorite Hot Rod engines. Interior is nice and that color looks very good too. I like the body, it's so low. Great looking build so far, I can't wait to see this one finished. Maybe I must continue my Hot Rod projects also...
Alyn Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Lot's to like, as usual with your builds. I dig the headers, and that shot of the enging and interior is killer.
Raul_Perez Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Looking good, Bernard!! You know, you may not have it as bad as you think with your inability to use CA. It cost me $14 today for a 2oz bottle of ZAP-A-GAP CA+ And I thought that gas was getting expensive...
MikeMc Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 (edited) One of your best Bernard!!! Seats are perfect!!! Love the headers....they look fab on that nailhead B) Edited April 10, 2011 by Stasch
Terror Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I never get tired of looking at 32 Fords.no two are alike.I plan to own a 1:1 soon. The seat idea is very cool.Like the color and the motor.I don't care for the grill it looks to rushed just cut off like that.Looks nice, but I think you could have done better.Thats just me tho,all in all a great piece.
Bernard Kron Posted April 17, 2011 Author Posted April 17, 2011 As always, the positive vibes are appreciated! This project is about done. Just some minor cleanup and detailing and she’ll be ready for some “beauty shots†I thought I would post some front suspension details. As you can see, it’s right hand drive in tribute to it’s Aussie origins. And finally, this is the Charles Kraft Deuce 3-window. It was featured in the May, 1958 Rod & Custom. The first picture is from the 50’s Years of Rod & Custom book, and it’s this image that was burned into my brain a while back and inspired this build. Next stop, Under Glass! Thanx for lookin’, B.
curt raitz Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 wait - wait - wait!!!...where are the cycle fenders? just kiddin' Bernard looks great c'ya
Bernard Kron Posted April 17, 2011 Author Posted April 17, 2011 Thanx guys! Curt, I think I'll pass on the fenders. I notice Charles Kraft didn't give them a whole lot of effort, he didn't even match the body color. The car must have weighed more than 1500 lbs. Anyway, she's all done and Under Glass here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=43302 Thanx for lookin', B.
