Chuck Most Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Second stalled project in a row I've finished in as many days! Hope this keeps up! The basic model is loosely based on an old buildup by Tim Boyd in SAE (back from 1988, I think),and the rest is all me. The De Soto Hemi was one I had lying around for years already built, plugged it in, finished up a few little minor details, and 'ere we are...
Dr. Cranky Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Count, you are cranking them out, and Doctor Cranky loves the eye candy. THANK YOU!

Harry P. Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 black because it's a drag car, not a street car? Why does a drag car need a horn??? BTW, Chuck... looks like some no-good punk stole the back door handle...
John Teresi Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Luv your work Chuck.......you come up with some great ideas.
Chuck Most Posted March 19, 2011 Author Posted March 19, 2011 Cool. Why the black headlight lenses? grumpy gus Well... the short answer is I didn't have any headlamp lenses the proper size, and I didn't feel like turining any larger ones down to fit. But I had two styrene discs that were about the right size, and since I'd started building it as a drag car, I figured it did not really need lights anyway! The horn HAD to stay, though!
bsoder Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Well Chuck ...these just make me smile..nice woodie
