lowriderphil Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 (edited) started fooling with this one tonight, gonna be simple, thinking maybe a light blue or purple primer finish. Can't decide on wheels yet, tires are modelhaus T170's, with either: 1. caddy sumbrero's 2. 59 caddy caps 3. stock buick caps Edited June 2, 2011 by lowriderphil
Crazy Ed Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 How's 'bout a Red wash in the outter ring of #3? Ed
W-409 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Yes, Caddy Sumbreros are the best choice. Maybe Chrome Reverse wheels would look great too, but those are nice also...
lowriderphil Posted May 21, 2011 Author Posted May 21, 2011 ride height set, bellflowers set, although I may make them a bit longer so they extend past the bumper, not felling the color, supposed to be flat blue but comes out like a gloss that hasn't been cleared. gonna hit up the craft store today to find a better color.
Draggon Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 I dig that blue and the new choice in wheels! I like semi-shiny paint more than flat.
lowriderphil Posted June 2, 2011 Author Posted June 2, 2011 I decided on a color change, krylon satin burgandy. finally got the texture I was shooting for, its a little rough around the edges but thats the look I want.
Joe Handley Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Looks good Phil, I'm digging the Bellflower Pipes too!
lowriderphil Posted June 3, 2011 Author Posted June 3, 2011 many thanks, I think they set the mood just right myself
