stewart Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 I like the exacto. How do you cut with the saw on the board since it is screwed on? Do you spin the wheel:? STewart

Danno Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Great wheel cutting tool, Gabe! Great idea. Thanks for sharing it with us!
crazyjim Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Excellent idea! Wouldn't you rub the chrome finish off the wheel though?
Guest Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 I've not made anything like that(cool BTW),but I have made a few different kinds of sanding devices out of old sprue for those times when I can't get to an area.
paul alflen Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 (edited) AS AN OLD CARPENTER ONCE SAID" SAVE THAT OLD SAWSALL BLADE I CAN USE IT FOR SOMETHING!" EXCELLENT TOOL FOR THE WHEEL ENLARGING/REDUCING! WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT???? Edited April 12, 2011 by paul alflen
shatteredsoul76 Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Wow I really like this thread, keep em coming guys! I will be picking up one of those Exacto knifes next time at Wallyworld if they have them, heck for $4 I may pick-up two of them, its looks comfortable.
paul alflen Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 BLUESMAN, WHAT IS THE COST OF THE SPOT SANDING PEN?
Greg Myers Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Need to cut a bigger round hole? From Lowes comes this neat compass and narrow diameter handle hobby knife. Remove the pencil from the compass and insert the hobby knife make your settings and away you go. Remember with the #11 blade cutting backwards works best.

I've already checked in my Walleyworld and they didn't have any, but that don't surprise me here. Will have to check the bigger stores. That looks trick and I gotta try one !!

ffreak Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I looked over the whole store here. The stationary, crafts, clearance and all. They only had 1 xacto knife and 1 pair of scissors in the whole store so that tells you how sorry this one is !!!
