I saw the video of this car a while back and I had to build it, I am not really into the late model Vettes but for the sake of this build I bought one. Here is what I am starting with.

Hope I will be able to keep up with my progress, usually I forget to take photos and post the progress, or I just put the build away...We'll see!

That's one way to solve the lack of horsepower in the early Vettes. I think it might look even better if you keep some chrome on it in a few places.

Well I didn't get much done this weekend, still tool shopping for school. Initial sanding and filling the body is done, though there is much left to do. I am trying to decide if I want to hack up the chassis and make the torque tube and trans-axle fit the '54 or slice the clutch housing from the LS9 and add a conventional 6 speed. A lot more work than I anticipated but I am definitely liking the idea so far.
