Very cool looking!

The wheels look like a cross between 10" Minilites and a 14" wheel rim. Whatever it is, it works. ;)

Cool. I love minis. Tamiya kit? Any engine photos?

The wheels came out nice - looks like the kit minilites converted to a larger diameter - nice idea!

Some more pictures,The wheels is aftermarket, fleamarket find, all chrome , i took the orginal minilite rims, cut off everything but the center part.

Paint and then glue it in the chrome rim.

To fit in the new wheels i had to wide the body. Here are some photos of the work.

Cut a strip along one body .

Now cut body 2 in two pieces and glu on the strip between the two bodyparts.

that is probably the coolest mini around.

widening the mini is something i wouldnt have thought about. excellent idea. :D

Mate very well done! I had no idea that you had widenned it until you showwed us the progress pics! I'm going to have to get a mini kit now :P

I'm in the process of building a custom mini moke atm :P
