Just simple bends on the boot and sanding and then the front edge to fill in the gap and you have a great fit !

Nice work going on there, David.

I'm liking those wheels. Are they some kind of Pegasus units?

Jim the wheels are a combo of the Pegasus 1109 tire and trim ring cause the spokes can be removed as it is a 2 piece set up ! What i did here was remove the spokes and added the factory stock 70 impala hub cap in its place and it gives me a differnt look for the wheels vs seeing the same wheel on every build and it fits my lowrider style of builds !

wow man, you have a busy workbench..lols kinda like mine, but cleaner and you actuall complete them..haha.

very nice work you have going on these impalas. i thought those wheels didnt look like the ordinary spokes. keep up the good work.

id like to see the chev wagon in that box though..lols

I am happy with it being my frist attempt at it ! Its way cleaner looking in person for some reason but i still might redo it and see if there is a way to achive a better look !Tell me what you guys think !

I like the look of the fabric roof ... the seam especially makes it!

If anything, the photos shade some edges along the side windows. No doubt, these look much better in person but some fabric cement applied and pressed down may hid these edges ... hopefully it wouldn't wreck the texture. I might just leave it ... just an off the wall thought.

Something you'll want to look into - The 1:1 1970 Impala convertible used the nearly flat Sport Coupe trunk lid, not the one from the Custom Coupe. Check out the images on these web pages:

No criticism intended, I just thought you'd want to know before you shot the color on it!
