Sixties Sam Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 I just finished this Revell 69 Charger. It was a Christmas gift from my son. I don't think I ever saw a model of one done in yellow, but Dodge offered a yellow color close to this Krylon color (called Bright Idea), so I went with it. Wet look clear over the yellow. It's a stock build with plug wires added. Here it sits down at Dad's Garage. The hood has a little twist in it - won't quite close on the driver's side. I messed up the air cleaner decal, but I'm not going to mess with it now. This is a great kit. It really shows how much models have improved in the last few decades. It went together well, although the chassis was a bit warped on this model. Glue and clamps fixed it. I hope you like it. Sam
Iron Fist Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 Very nice build. I bought one of these and the body and chassis was badly twisted also so I ended up using it for parts, bought another one and thankfully it was straight.
charlie8575 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Very nice, Sam. The yellow/black looks nice on that. Charlie Larkin
