tiking Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Here are my collection of Scratch built and/or Heavy modified 1/35 armor models I've built:
Harry P. Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 WOW! Fantastic! that is some exceptional model building. Very impressive.
george 53 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!! That lil M-113 brings back some VERY old memories!
Agent G Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 (edited) Oh now those are great! I love the back alley way the troops up armored their vehicles. You made that look good. George we (USMC) didn't have M113's, but seeing that brought back some thoughts for me too. G Edited May 2, 2011 by AgentG
george 53 Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 I know G, I was jealous cas we always hadta walk!!! Semper Fi!
DanielG Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 Very nice detailing and weathering, not over done. I also like the way that you put the models 'into' the diorama and not leave them sitting 'on top' like a lot of fellows do. A guy could be excused for thinking some of the photos are of the real thing. Great stuff!
robertw Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Wow !! Most impressive. I've never had much luck at doing armour but can certainly recognize quality when I see it. rob
tiking Posted May 4, 2011 Author Posted May 4, 2011 Thanks guys. Glad you all like my collections. most have been sold to collectors and others have been recycled. So the only one I have left among all of them is the first one at the top of the page, the vignette. But I'm working on doing more.

Clay Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 (edited) I like these because my shelters are transported on them Edited May 5, 2011 by Clay
tiking Posted May 5, 2011 Author Posted May 5, 2011 Thanks Clay. Both were extensively scratchbuilt. The M1075 took almost a month to build.
tiking Posted May 26, 2011 Author Posted May 26, 2011 (edited) A couple more older builds: __________________________________________ ____________________________ Edited May 26, 2011 by tiking
