I'd model Big Willies Daytona if I could find enough info. Did you know its Big Willie's car in the opening street racing in the movie "Two Lane Blacktop"?

I didn't know that but I do remember him coming to our local strip when I was a teenager and by then his car had a flip front end and a tunnel ram on it. Now that's the version that I want to model

I met Big WIllie when I was up in LA during the street racing scene of the 90's. Pretty cool guy actually. Even got to run my truck up there at Terminal Island when he reopened it. And yes, he's a pretty big dude!

I think I have the article on his Daytona in one of my Mopar mags somewhere. Maybe I could scan it, if I could find it.

Paul

I would like to see that article.

And when we run out of Big Willie stuff, I'll be patiently waiting for "Big" Jungle Pam stuff!

Of course, this IS at the risk of running afoul of the "NO GIRLS ALLOWED" issue... :blink:B)

Yeah I sure do remember! The womans name was Tomiko. His car was red and called "King Daytona" while hers was green and called "Queen Daytona". They also had a 68-ish Barracuda with a superbird nose and wing, painted like a police car. He was in a car movie also, tho I dont remember which one. Could have been Hollywood Knights.

A couple more pics: Notice his car says "Big Willie and Tomiko" while hers is "Tomiko and Big Willie" Pretty cute.

Not really - because this doesn't really interest me either.
