The knock-off came out great looking Rom (whats new!), the little pin is a great idea, even in 1/16th the tiny things you make are remarkable.

The parachute mounts look good. I'm glad you posted the pickup because I learned something. Dude, you need to buy some stock in K&S to get a return on your brass investment.

Thanks fellas for all your kind compliments , and thank you for sticking with me through this long building process.

Heres the pics of the finished chute rig.

Hey look I used some styrene , LOL! I made these boxes I was gonna just cover them with material and call it a day for the chutes...

finishedchutes002.jpg

finishedchutes005.jpg

well that didnt look to good as a matter of fact it looked like boxes coverd with material, so what I did was remove 3 of the side walls from the boxes after I stuffed a paper towel inside (that was to shape the paper into a square)

finishedchutes006.jpg

Then that was covered with Johnsons & Johnsons medical tape that was dyed Black with a black sharpie...

Well since the chutes were done I have to make a deployment handle and the lines , also had to make a run to the hardware store to get some wire for the lines heres what i ended up with....

first i made a handle out of brass with my dremel tool, kinda like carving at 13,000 rpm LOL!

chutelines002.jpg

handle in place in the hole I drilled back when I built the chassis , glad I did that when I did.....

chutelines003.jpg

Added the lines .....
