pharr7226 Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 The parachute mounts look good. I'm glad you posted the pickup because I learned something. Dude, you need to buy some stock in K&S to get a return on your brass investment.
Dragracer Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 The chute frame & the header details 1 word : AWESOME!
Romell R Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 Thanks fellas for all your kind compliments , and thank you for sticking with me through this long building process. Heres the pics of the finished chute rig. Hey look I used some styrene , LOL! I made these boxes I was gonna just cover them with material and call it a day for the chutes... well that didnt look to good as a matter of fact it looked like boxes coverd with material, so what I did was remove 3 of the side walls from the boxes after I stuffed a paper towel inside (that was to shape the paper into a square) Then that was covered with Johnsons & Johnsons medical tape that was dyed Black with a black sharpie... The finished product up next.....
Romell R Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 Ok so heres how it all turned out I hope you enjoy!..... Heres a finished chute.. Attached to the frame Mocked up on the body.... Thanks for joining me , Cya on the next one.

Romell R Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012 Many thanks fellas x10 LOL! I have another update for ya enjoy.... Well since the chutes were done I have to make a deployment handle and the lines , also had to make a run to the hardware store to get some wire for the lines heres what i ended up with.... first i made a handle out of brass with my dremel tool, kinda like carving at 13,000 rpm LOL! handle in place in the hole I drilled back when I built the chassis , glad I did that when I did..... Added the lines ..... Ok im down to 5 things left to do to complete this build stay tunned Cya soon......
