Brutalform Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 (edited) Just finished this Ford. The front and rear grills, interior tub, and roll bar, are from the Modified Stocker kit. The wheels and tires are from Bandit Resin. Decals are from Yesterdays. Edited May 24, 2011 by Brutalform
spad007 Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Outstanding build thank you for showing this not every one did one car.. Well Done ..
bbowser Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Well done. I love seeing the '60's cars. Fireball was an incredible driver that hardly anyone remembers today. Outstanding replica!
seeker589 Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Great build! I think I saw that car at a Museum in Daytona. Where did you get the inspiration to build?
Brutalform Posted July 10, 2011 Author Posted July 10, 2011 Great build! I think I saw that car at a Museum in Daytona. Where did you get the inspiration to build? Just looking through a lot of big car kits, and through searches. I like the Impalas, and Galaxies in particular.
Harry P. Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 Nice... but why did you leave the chrome side trim in place and paint over it???
Brutalform Posted July 11, 2011 Author Posted July 11, 2011 (edited) Nice... but why did you leave the chrome side trim in place and paint over it??? This was a quick build. The body was painted. Besides minor sanding, and flash cleanup, my body work skills are not the best. Edited July 11, 2011 by Brutalform
2002p51 Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 Removing the side trim from a '64 isn't as tough as it looks, give it a try on your next one. Just take your time and it will come out just fine.
Harry P. Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 This was a quick build. The body was painted. Besides minor sanding, and flash cleanup, my body work skills are not the best. I'll bet you can handle it.
Brutalform Posted July 11, 2011 Author Posted July 11, 2011 (edited) Beautiful build...Drew!!! I am still getting (adding) some tools to my hobby, to do more involved things. Like I stated, the body was painted, and I did not want to mess it up, so I just left it alone. Thanks Guys!!! Edited July 11, 2011 by Brutalform
Bridgebuster Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 Really nice build! I remember Fireball from when he was driving a Poncho. He was my hero and it just killed me when I heard that he had died. I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news.

Drew, I remember seeing this model posted in Scale Auto a while back. Awesome job on it. Sure miss reading your column there.
Thumper Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 A fine tribute to a great driver.....well done !!
Dragline Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Holman Moody cars were always so nice. Great build Bob
ra7c7er Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Cool build. Fireball is one of my favorite drivers.
Guest Johnny Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 (edited) Try removing the trim from a 63 Galaxie after that the 64 will seem easy! Still a nice clean build of a great subject! One of the few drivers I have a autograph from. My uncle got it the morning before his last race. Edited August 5, 2011 by Johnny
