thesnake87 Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 So me and my dad were doing some errands and while driving (it was a cool day out, but still a good one for driving) we saw a couple custom 32 coupes, a 64 Impala, and a 50's Corvette in a matter of minutes. They were all very, very nice cars and sounded great. Anyone else had one of these moments lately?
george 53 Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Where abouts do you live in Meeeeechegun,Jake? here in the Metro Detroit area, as soon as it gets warm out the street guys start cruzin and don't stop till after it starts gettin cold.

I live near Caledonia but I'm at my dad's in Paw Paw And those 442's... eww... lol no kidding about the Honda thing. But even then they should probably be limited to golf carts and mopeds. But I have a feeling they'll still find a way to ghetto it out...
Harry P. Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Yesterday I was behind a yellow Murcielago. Now that's a car you don't see on the street every day!

Oh that reminds me I saw a Ferrari 599 GTB a couple weeks ago. Ferrari red of course... but in Michigan? I saw a black Gallardo last year too... only time I've seen someone driving one.

Agent G Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Saw a baby blue Aston Martin convertible on the way home yesterday. Parked next to a black Maserati Quadraporte day before. A neighbor has one of the last '48 Ford woodies in existence, in his garage. Lots of cool stuff around here, every Saturday morning we have "Cars and Coffee" at a local parking lot. The strip mall closes the lot and we have Vetts here, rods over there, classics in the middle and every other wheeled vehicle imaginable. I took my old BMW one morning and could have sold it for mucho bucks, but I like the old girl way too much. G
diymirage Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 we can add a 71 plum crazy pruple charger to my list
LOBBS Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 There's a guy around here that has a Cortez Silver '69 Camaro for sale. He puts it out on the street side of his car lot and I have to pass by it every summer on the way to work. It's beautifully done but he's got to be asking a fortune for it because it's now been out there at least the last three years.
mikemodeler Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Yesterday I was behind a yellow Murcielago. Now that's a car you don't see on the street every day! Especially with the way the streets are in Chicagoland!!! Luckily with the nice weather here in the South, you can see nice cars almost year round. There is a very nice restuarant nearby that hosts Saturday AM car shows and recently it was full of Ferraris. It is not uncommon to see newer high end cars around here, few muscle cars except for late model 'Stangs, Camaros and Challengers.

And just this morning I saw a white GT-R in Alma, the second time I've seen it in that hodunk little town.
