Mark Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Are there any sites where people have bought kits then parted them out? Its just iv been looking for a few things for a while now on here and cannot seem to get them. Thanks. eBay. They're described as "haven't checked everything, but it looks complete" by sellers that "don't know much about these things" (but when you check their recent sales, model kits are all they have been selling)
Deckerz Posted May 30, 2011 Author Posted May 30, 2011 wierdly ebay hasn't got much floating around right now in the way of parts, i did think of bidding on a kit yesterday but then i thought i wanted from it was the tyres (revell viper srt10) and the other kit i only wanted the engine (lindberg srt8) and i can't seem to find anyone on the forum who has this stuff either :/
Foxer Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 thanks guys, unfortunatly they don't have the stuff i need either :/ any other sites? This is an interesting site, but the site programmer need a lesson in webpage programming. The description of the part appears in the photo window before the photo appears but there is no description once the photo loads. I suspect there may be a popup after loading, but only web newbies submit to irritating popups ... scratch 80% of possible customers. I'm surprised I don't even get the photo caption when I run my mouse over the photo . must be turned off ... scratch the other 20%.
