Revell 1969 Mustang 428 Cobra Jet Model

Hi,

I was looking through my garage today when I came across a 1969 Mustang 428 Cobra Jet Model. I know absolutely nothing about model cars and what they are worth. The box is still in really good shape after 42 years and everything inside looks like it has never been touched. It is a 1/25 scale model kit. Can you help me out?

With all the model knowledge on this forum, I'm surprised you haven't received an answer on this yet.

I'd suggest you post this on the Spotlight Hobbies forum. There are several people on there who've worked in the industry and who really know their stuff about models.

A completed items search on eBay will give you a good idea for the value, if one has ended in the last two weeks.

It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, but for a ballpark figure I'd say $40 or more.

That of the rarer 69 Mustang kits. Its a coupe and I'd say on ebay it't bring more than 40 bucks..I've seen them go for more than that.

I think 40 is a good figure to start with. If you get less, you were shafted, if you get more, you were lucky.

I'd chime in with at least a $40.00 estamate. This is one that I've been looking for, and if you'll accept a USPS money order for $45.00 I'm good for it. Let me know.
