Ok guys, I have cheated a little here. I like the look of the SC so have retained the side pipes, bonnet scoop, gas cap & quick lifts. In fact all I have done is removed the 427 & installed a Shelbyized 289 from a GT350 and fitted wire wheels. Sprayed in blackberry nail polish. It fits in nicely with my other 427's & AMT 289's.

Very nice. I think I'm going to have to check out this nail polish thing you guys are doing. Did you do any polishing after laying the paint down, or did it just come out that way?

Tks for the comments guys. Paint process was auto undercoat, acrylic white with a light sand between finished coats then nail polish & Auto acrylic clear. Polished out after the clear. I don't spend much time sanding/polishing out.
