Fake!

Think of the logistics (and costs) involved in building all those walls in reality... and the almost zero percent chance that the car would go through every one perfectly.

Harry, we take what we see as reality, but we can be fooled. Heck you do it to us every other week!!!;) . Those walls could have been made of foam, an it could have taken 1,000 shoots to film then spliced together to see what we see. Not that it is real, I too doubt ANYONE could pull off a stunt like that, but it does look cool as heck! Wonder how many goofs will try to see if THEY can drive like that!

Its real......too many ways I could do it and BMW does have the ad $$

sorta like the mythbusters tablecloth episode......a few tricks not shown, in this one , focal length of the lens used along with the compression from the lens used, and camera angles, great editing skills and a bunch of SINGLE takes combined...It could be easily done....

From carscoop.blogspot.com:

BMW of Canada has published a new and rather entertaining promotional film on the firm’s new limited production 1-Series M Coupe. The video shows the Bavarian automaker’s sports car pushing its 335-horsepower twin-turbocharged inline-six to the limit and burning plenty of rubber in doing so while passing sideways through set of imaginary walls on the road. Truth to be said though, BMW’s advertising agency could have skimped on the somewhat farcical CGI (computer-generated images) cement walls and still have an engaging commercial in its hands.

Ken Block has the personality of a dead fish to. He is so wrapped up in thinking he is gods gift to cars that he forgets what he is doing when he has more to do than just do doughnuts around barricades.
