LAone Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 hey guys, figured i'd ask on here. i have a 1/16 nomad that i would like to build pro touring style. i am looking for some torque thrust style wheels in like a 20" with tires. i was looking at the jada 1/18 diecast cars but some look too cartoonish and others look good, but not the size i need. does anyone make wheels or can they be made? if so pricing? and how about tires? any help will be greatly appreciated.
Romell R Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Check with Fourm member Micro Nitro he turns wheels.
sjordan2 Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 (edited) There are some choices on eBay. Bookmark this and keep looking from time to time if you don't see what you need. Look at the listings closely; some of the sellers offer additional choices. http://toys.shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=1%2F16+wheels&_sacat=2580&_sop=10&_odkw=1%2F16&_osacat=2580&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313 Edited June 25, 2011 by sjordan2

Most large diameter 1/18 scale wheels will scale out to about 19"-20" in 1/16 scale, but the tires are usually not very accurate. Try looking at R/C cars and the Muscle Machines type caricature vehicles for larger diameter wheels and tires, too.
