justin2020 Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Here is my latest build. It is the new 61 ford Galaxie. It is a curbside so I thought that I would try to do something fun with it. This is the first chop that I have ever finished. Over it was a blast to do. It is mostly box stock. The wheels are from the Chrysler Turbine car. Scale Motor Sports decals on the seats. Tamiya paints and polished out to a shine. Not to mention some BMF.
crazyjim Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 I'm liking your build, Justin. The color looks good and it's SHINY. What color is that? The seats are very nice. I've never used decals on seats. Do they come cut or just on a sheet? To further enhance the interior, have you considered using washes on the gauges, radio, etc.? The rear window looks tinted. How did you accomplish that feat?

Thanks for your nice words.
Sixties Sam Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Very nice model, Justin! The chop is well done, and is just right for it. Great paint job. I like the old 60's Galaxies. Yours is one of the nicest ones I've seen. Sam
shucky Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 Justin, pretty cool sled. Nice job. I like the color and interior and it sits just right.
justin2020 Posted July 17, 2011 Author Posted July 17, 2011 Thanks for the comments all. After looking pretty close at a few pics I see my chop is a little off from the window. Either way I have never finished a chop. Soi am happy that this one came out as well as it did. Thanks again
