Travis Waits Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 (edited) I am not sure what class it would compete in but it sure was hoot to build... Monogram RS Camaro base.. Monogram Lumina Horespower, seat, tires and wheels.. Evergreen Roll bars, spoilers. sidepipes, glass, side skirts, instrument panel and tail lights.. Masking Tape net.. MS Paint generated number 0 transfered to white label paper used as a stensil for spraying.. Krylon Finish all the way including clear. First attempt using Krylon Clear but ut worked well on this subject.. I love these type of builds and cant wait for the next one, although my decal stash is getting low. ra7c7er Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Really cool. It definitely has a backyard racer feel to it.
roadhawg Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Very cool! You really captured the right look. As far as class, in the 70's, that would've been a "late model". In the 80's, it would have been "Hobby" or "Limited". Today, it would be "Vintage".
