Guest Markus355 Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 He wont be disapointed. the show in halifax was insane. Flogging molly is playing here in september.
SuperStockAndy Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Dropkick Murphy is a band? I'm still into the Beachboys. Ditto. ZZ Top is playing close to use, gotta talk Mom and Dad into getting tickets
Danno Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Dropkick Murphy is a band? I'm still into the Beachboys. Dittos. Four generations here ... my Dad was a promo man for Capitol Records when the Beach Boys were signed and first records released; he was a fan; I've been a huge fan all these 50 years (yes, Beach Boys are celebrating their 50th anniversary next year); my children grew up loving Beach Boys music; our granddaughter (18) is a Beach Boys fan and I'm introducing our grandson (4) to the joys of the Endless Summer. On the other hand, one of my sons is also a Dropkick Murphy fan ... in addition to sincere love of Beach Boys, Beatles, Ventures, and Dick Dale music. (Emoticon indicating great musical pleasures here.)
Guest Markus355 Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 in the immortal words of john milner: "i cant stand all that surfer Sh**, rock and rolls been going down hill ever since buddy holly died"
SuperStockAndy Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Yeah...I mean I'm 13 and have no friends because I'm so oldschool
Art Laski Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Little known fact- Dave King, the singer in Flogging Molly used to front an early 80's heavy metal group called Fastway. They were one of my favorite bands back then. Look it up on YouTube and Say What You Will! Same voice, completely different style...
Guest Markus355 Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 yeah - i have the ace of spades tattooed. and Snaggletooth planned. Prolly the biggest motorhead-banger on this board i am.
