Mirage Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Hi guys, Can anyone recommend the best way to share photos? I have a new project that I want to share in 'On the workbench' but i keep getting told that I have exceeded my attachments allowance. I have added the photos to flickr but it doesn't seem to want to link to them there either. Thanks for any advice you can give, Moray
crazyjim Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Yup. Photobucket. A lot of people here use fotki.
sjordan2 Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 There should be no problem with Photobucket or Fotki. Just set up separate albums for individual builds you want to share, if you have multiple images, and paste the links here. For example, if you have a Charger build with several images you want to share, set up an individual album for that build on the hosting site and post the album link here. Not sure why you have a problem with flickr. All you need to do is post the link. If you want to post the individual images here, that's a different process and you need to look at the tutorial posted on this forum. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=12248
Mirage Posted August 14, 2011 Author Posted August 14, 2011 Thanks guys, I will have a go with Photobucket and see what happens.

Dr. Cranky Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Again, for me Fotki has worked remarkably well.
MrObsessive Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Moray, here's the pic you want. In Photobucket, I've found that you have to enlarge the photo, and then copy the .jpg URL. Above your text box where your typing, there's a picture icon. Click on that and then paste the URL in the field. Hit OK, and the pic should show up in your text box as it did for me. NICE Ferrari BTW!

Mirage Posted August 15, 2011 Author Posted August 15, 2011 Cheers Bill, will use that method. It has clearly worked well. Glad you like the Ferrari!
