Ok at the request of Android, I am posting up my Long Term 66 Nova project that has been placed on the Back Burner now for over 2+ years. The reason for it as I ended up getting torn in what direction I wanted to go with the build (Pro Mod or Pro Street)?

Enough Talking, here are the may progress pictures of the long term project. :)

Thanks to Android for requesting these pix, good looking car Bart.

Ever thought about an Outlaw build with 10.5" wide rears, this looks perfect for that type of car.

Google '66 Outlaw Nova and enjoy the view. Just a suggestion. Good luck with the rest of the build.

Great project. That engine fits nicely to Nova, and that frame is very nice. I also like that floor, and rear wheel wells. Keep it coming, very nice build, I'll be following this one very surely.

Thanks everyone for the nice words and the suggestion of going the Extreme 10.5 route. I took a look at some of the pics and you are right it does look pretty close.

Oh I forgot to mention, what is everyone using for a some what scale 10.5 tire? I have currently the older drag tires off of like the Mustang II, because they were the smallest I could find.

Hey Bart, I can't help with the tyres :( , but this is another great build you have on your hands here. :) B)

And don't worry about time frames.......ALL great builds take time. :D

Bart, first let me say, awesome job on what you've done so far. The chassis work looks great. As far as the tire question goes. The best solution that I know of would possibly to use a set of rear slicks from an Action or Racing Champions diecast pro stock car. They are not technically the perfect size for 10.5 class cars but compared to everything else available they come pretty close. I have included a couple of pictures for you to gauge for yourself.
