Bruce Poage Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 (edited) http://s1117.photobucket.com/albums/k583/BruceandMary47/ I’ve never posted a picture before so here goes! This is a recent project. This was an opened kit minus the Harley Davidson decals. So what! I had never tried a 3 color paint job before. This is Tamiya paint and clear. The engine was wired, rolled pans, Kranze wheels and Chrysler side mirrors. The inside of the cargo area was upholstered with colored athletic trainer tape. I’ve been building since 1958 and still havin’ fun. Edited August 31, 2011 by Bruce Poage
Bruce Poage Posted August 30, 2011 Author Posted August 30, 2011 It's obvious I STILL don't know the process of posting a picture. My wife is my tech expert but we couldn't figure this out. Suggestions?
bsoder Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 It's obvious I STILL don't know the process of posting a picture. My wife is my tech expert but we couldn't figure this out. Suggestions? Hi Bruce...well you need a photo hosting site. photobucket, fotki, flickr are some.. from these it's fairly simple, copy image and paste in your post. Their is a tutorial or 2 around here somewhere, but you must have a picture host, hope this helps so we can see your stuff
Bruce Poage Posted August 30, 2011 Author Posted August 30, 2011 I have pictures stored in photobucket
Jairus Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Okay, I will use Brian's photobucket account since he so graciously provided it in his sig block... Step one is to go to the pic in your account that you want to post. On the right is a box with the words "Share this photo". 4th option down is: "IMG code". Click on the code and when a message pops up which reads: "Copied". What that means is it is copied to your clipboard on your computer. Not the picture, but the address where the picture is stored. A forum thread is simply a program and where the pictures go is only an address. The video card in your computer, when the thread is opened, reads all the codes for fonts, type and pictures and displays it in a logical format. So... I went to Brian's account and posted this pic: http://i11.photobuck.../bsoder/025.jpg<<<< Just paste (Edit, Paste at the top of the screen) the code where you want. I added spaces to fool the program so you could read the code, but if you do it right it looks like this: <<<<
Guest Gramps-xrds Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 (edited) There's a much simpler way ta post from Photo Bucket. Simply scroll the mouse over the picture you want ta post and a drop down window will appear. At the bottom of the window there's some lines. Just click on the bottom line, it will then say copied and on here, right click and select paste. Edited August 30, 2011 by Gramps-xrds
Jantrix Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 (edited) Below your photos are 4 lines of code. just copy the line that is marked IMG code into the reply box. Very easy. Oh and, very nice work. We don't see this one built very often, but you sure knocked it out of the park. More pics please. Edited August 31, 2011 by Jantrix

Bruce Poage Posted September 1, 2011 Author Posted September 1, 2011 Thanks for the help with posting pics guys. We may try that again some time. No more pics this time.
Skydime Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 These are starting to pop up lately. I think I am going to have to take my old HD version apart and redo it. Maybe do my first post of my own project on here. Nice job mixing the newer styles on it.
