VisVos Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 (edited) Revell motor city kit. this thing has been a pain lower valance did not wanted to go on . back panel was a torture and one piece glass was warped . other then that fun build painted almond ( again my crappy camera does not show shine to well). I was lowered just a bit and i didn't like the side scopes so they are not on it. one oops while after i took the pictures Ive noticed that some wax got into the panel lines hope you like it Edited September 3, 2011 by VisVos
peter31a Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Nice clean build Matt. I love this colour combination. Thanks for sharing.
Skydime Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I had never really given that kit much thought. But yours looks great in those colors.
Craig Irwin Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Looks great! I was beginning to think there was a law requiring Shelbys to be painted red!
Dr. Cranky Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Wonderful looking model, and that engine is AMAZING!
bsoder Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 That came out real nice!...the color looks real good and the stance is perfect B)
Dominik Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Nice clean build Matt. I love this colour combination. Thanks for sharing. The same thoughts belong to me! Well done Matt. I like it.
Sixties Sam Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I like it! Good choice on the color! It gives it kind of an understated look of meanness! Sam
GOTH KUSTOMS Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 For the issues you say you had it looks like a clean and crisp build, good job.....
Guest Johnny Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Sweet! While I normally do not like the taller wheels on the older car for some reason this one just looks right! Beautiful color choice with the stripe to break it up just give it a really clean look!
VisVos Posted September 4, 2011 Author Posted September 4, 2011 thanks guys . the paint choice was a bit unusual . I was remolding the bathroom and painted some glass vases with stone paint that needed light base. so this got me thinking i got a gt500 to build but didn't want to do usual color. i got krylon epoxy enamel spray that was required for stone base and let me tell you this stuff is fantastic. I have some left over oil rubbed bronze spray and a 70 chevelle soo on to a new project
FordRodnKustom Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Sharp Shelby! That color really "works" with the gold stripes.
