Man I havent even thought of color yet, I did when I first started it, but as you can see it's kinda changed, of course it has, i did'nt have the body kit on it yet, but now I do, heck I'm even thinking of changing directions with the engine now, no I wont tell,

Jantrix Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 I think I like this new ending to an old fender better then the flat, Me too. Looks right.
GOTH KUSTOMS Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 (edited) OK, going a Lil different here, well sorta, take a look and tell me, make sure you take a good long look at the car over all, look at the lines, then give me your honest opinion, dont be shy or scared, this will effect the rest of this build, in only the direction of a few added parts, VENT ? NO VENT ? Edited September 11, 2011 by unforgiven
johnnyg Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 That is some real nice work going there Mike, Keep it going.
Romell R Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 this vette looks like its gonna be one fun project and your on your way to a jem of a build, I think you should do the vent though. Keep us post with this one Mike
GOTH KUSTOMS Posted September 12, 2011 Author Posted September 12, 2011 (edited) I'd keep the vent as it's a traditional styling cue for all 'Vettes. , , BUT I'd either make it the same shape as the stock one or maybe do it as a series of "gills" like on a '67. BTW ,, Don't know if you're aware of it or not but this set of flares was REALLY close to an actual Greenwood styling kit back then they called "GTO" , ,, may have been used on the Greenwood race cars too. I've got a set of them for a future project too so I'm very interested to see how yours turns out. This is just to kewl, no I didn't know about the body kit, when I started mine, this is just so kewl, im really digging the hood scoop to boot, I don't suppose you have a link where I could see more of the beauty ???, thank you for sharing this with me, or well us..... VW Dave Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I used to hate those widebody kits when I was younger, but I've warmed up to them since....and I'm really liking this build.
Mooneyzs Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 This is a very cool build. Nice wide body. Looking good. I woukd have to say go with some kind of vent.

GOTH KUSTOMS Posted September 14, 2011 Author Posted September 14, 2011 (edited) OK, new direction, and wanting your thoughts, I will cut out the lower vent, at the body, I can also give the rear the same treatment, just hit me..... Edited September 14, 2011 by unforgiven
