while taping the car off to do some of the black trim the graphics came completely off, now it is black. Luckily it comes with two sets of stripes so I am going to use the white ones instead, hopefully they stay on.

you'll need to clear over the decals before you put tape down or they will lift.

i did but they still lifted, I have no idea what happened, I am thinking that it was the silver paint, the decal adhesive did not hold on to the paint.

How long did you let the clear-coat dry for, before masking over the decals?? If you don't allow at least a week for the clear-coat to fully dry/gas out then that's probably why the decals lifted  Also you'd probably have to lay down at least 3 solid coats to give it a good set-in base 

It sat for about 6 days, although I only sprayed 1 layer of clear, which is what I usually what I do for stock cars, the custom ones I do upto 5 coats of clear.

Javier .. I think you are correct about the silver paint. I always clear over metallics before I decal.

Agreed.

Aw man yer breaking my heart. So much effort and time spent detailing that undercarriage and then leave the mold lines on the mufflers?
