Hi Folkks,

Ran across this Viper in a mopar mag and found some info on the web. It is based in England and began racing in 2006.

Info states that the car was built to "Pro Mod" standards with a full tube frame but raced in Top Sportsman or Super ET.

Going with Revell's 2000 Viper kit

Specs on the 1:1 car call out a 112" wheelbase, the Viper stock is about 98" ? Will extend the nose for most of that , maybe a couple of inches in front of the rear wheels. Need to bump up the rear fenders of course.

The real car has a Ray Braton built 604 ci hemi , 5 stage drysump system and no nitrious . Using a Revell 426 hemi block, will change some things like adding a remote water pump so I can model an exposed timing gear and chain, saw this on a Dave S build in the 'Big Boys' section and thought it was really cool.

Some ref. pics, all from commercial sites...

Randy - this is incredible!! You have too much time on your hands and more talent and skills than one person should have. Loving this so far. Just super craftsmanship.

The engine is looking great Randy!. I've seen pictures of I believe it's Billy Harper who is (was) running a Viper in Pro-Mod here in the states, it was a year or so ago I saw the pics. Hope to see more soon!
