Dave Metzner Posted October 8, 2011 Posted October 8, 2011 I think that the 54 Interior is similar to the 53 except the dash which was new in 54.. I have photos of a 54 coupe that has same upholstery pattern and door panels as the 53 - I'm thinking that the only real difference in the interior of that car is the dash and It's alot different than the 53.. The body is a different story - only thing that a 53 and a 54 have in common is the roof and doors - Maybe trunk lid everything else is different - Chassis and mechanical components are same for 53-54...

Might have been a different pattern or texture to the upholstery depending on how the car was optioned out, too. I've seen a couple of '54 Hollywoods with very different interior and seat patterns from the '53, though I'm not sure at all if the interior stuff differed at all between the Hornet and Hollywood, much less the lower-line Hudson models. In any case, I'd love to see somebody master a '54 transkit for the '52/53 kit- and no, I'm not volunteering for that duty!
Rob Hall Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 On one of the other forums someone posted a pic of the box this resin kit comes in, apparently, it's a Husdon Hollywood instead of a Hudson Hollywood.
