Thx. guys i appreciate it, I added my lower front clip mounts built out of brass and used some dirt modeler brass Dzus tabs. Took alot of patience to solder those tiny tabs on there, But i managed to pull it off. I also added some tabs to the firewall for the turbo mounts. Have to add some more tabs to the chassis, The next update the chassis should have color once i figure out what color to paint it.

Thx. Scott, Well i reached a mile stone in this build today, At least for me. The chassis is painted, i used testors one coat lacquer. The color is diamond dust, I didn't want a dark color this is more like a silver and it does have a little to much metallic in it for me. But none the less it turned out good and i think it should look good once i start hanging stuff on it. Gonna give it a day or 2 to dry then do the carbon underneath and on the door bars then i can hit it with the clear. Mean while i'm gonna get started on a new intake for the engine. I will have to try to get better pictures once it is cleared, It is way brighter than the pictures show.

Joe.... that Chassis sure looks great with paint on it. I really like the color choice too. Man you have to feel like you hit a big milestone getting this painted. You sure have me wanting to get paint on my funny car chassis now :D

It looks super, Joe. I used that same color on a build I started. You're right - the metallic is pretty pronounced, but it's a nice color overall. I'll look forward to more updates, soon...

Thx. for the kind words guys, The chassis is cleared and i made the center part that goes between the tubs. I still need to polish the carbon parts and i'm going to dull coat the underside of the tubs( the black part only), but had to throw it together for a couple pictures ( keep in mind the tubs are just sitting there and not fitted all the way in) I'm starting to get really excited now because i get to start adding goodies and it's all starting to come together. I also added the door latches to the chassis you can see in the one picture, They are for looks only. I will be using tiny magnets to keep the doors fully shut.
