RodneyBad Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 That's a good looking Chrysler.. Nice work on the hood.
Dr. Cranky Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Great job, the fun continues on this one. Keep it going, you are headed in an excellent direction.
Lownslow Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 thanks guys, school has slowed this build to a crawl but moving along nicely, body needs some work still
Eshaver Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I have this one myself . Problem is , I want to be very accurate as to what these cars had as I want to include it within one of my older dioramas . Ed Shaver
Dr. Cranky Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Silken, that's looking nice and smooth. Keep it going during your free time!

charlie8575 Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Nice job on the hood. Will it be all white, or do you have another color you'll be pairing with it? Charlie Larkin
Lownslow Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 Nice job on the hood. Will it be all white, or do you have another color you'll be pairing with it? Charlie Larkin im lost on colors im debating orange and cream or orange and red
charlie8575 Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Cream body with orange accents (moulding strip, wheels, perhaps the fenders,) would be very sharp. Model Master Light Ivory is a nice cream color that looks good on 1930s cars. Charlie Larkin
Lownslow Posted October 4, 2011 Author Posted October 4, 2011 i tried polly s cream and it looked odd so i went with GMs "generic appliance white" which looks like a off white cream, it was hard to get a shot they all came out white errrr what i used
Diesel Gypsy Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Oh no what a shame the paint pealed. Are we talking total stip & re-spray here or a patch up. Try not to loose heart Silken, I'm sure it'll turn out just fine.

charlie8575 Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 Interesting color treatment. If you do that with the white/cream fenders and orange wheels, you'll have a fine-looking build. Charlie Larkin
