Dr. Cranky Posted October 9, 2011 Author Posted October 9, 2011 Wow, you guys have been busy, that's for sure. Don't hold back, don't be shy . . . this is going to provide many hours of eye candy for someone one day soon..
Sam Cates Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Does a 1:1 engine I built count? Built this a couple years ago, put it in my '74 Nova. Runs GREAT with tons of power, enough that I blew the well built trans at the track during Super Chevy weekend in July. Since then I put it in my '79 van. The last photo is what it looked like when I started.
Jairus Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 A few of my favorites. The Allison 1710 The flathead. My 390. And my favorite engine I built.

comp1839 Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 doc, you sure know what button to push. building engines is my favorite past time. here's an all aluminum (except for the blower) hemi i did. here's an old school blown donovan. an old donovan with new school goodies. and a brad anderson hemi w/ psi screwblower. in my book, the engine is the heart and soul of a car.
Chuck Most Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 I've always been a fan of inline sixes, and now that there's a 308 Hudson mill in scale, I'm having a little fun with that one- This one is box stock other than the wiring, and painted in non-stock colors. Next one's gonna have a Paxton centrifugal huffer!
Mooneyzs Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Here is an engine that was started 15 years ago for my 1/16th scale Front Engine Dragster: Here it is mocked up in the dragster after I painted it earlier this year, don't mind that the body panels aren't lined up, they were taped tot he frame for the mock up of it to take pics: Here is a shot of the engine in my '62 Bel Air Pro street I did 15 years ago or so: Here is one from my Super Comp Altered which the engine was started 15 years ago but just finished it earlier this year. Only thing is I wish I would of gone with some other line for the fuel lines:
Scott Colmer Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 How about a V-6 SOHC/SHO front blown Hosted on Fotki Or a twin Paxon Vette ZR1engine. Hosted on Fotki
