DodgeMoparManiac Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Marc, You make me want to drag out that old '75 bird I have. The "glass" just makes me sick! That is so slick! Like I said over there(hhmb) I just pity the guys at Heartland.
MrObsessive Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Very slick job on that old Poncho Marc! I'm with you about the "glass"..............It's all I use (acetate) for windows as the kit glass is always too thick and distorted looking in a lot of older and some new kits. The only kit manufacturer that seems to get kit glass right may be Tamiya.........but their kits are pricey anyway!
Olle F Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 The only kit manufacturer that seems to get kit glass right may be Tamiya.........but their kits are pricey anyway! You know, there are a lot of things I would be willing to pay for, instead of going through this endless pursuit of the right materials that should have been in the kit to begin with. But I guess this is wishful thinking.
KENNEDYJR Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 That is one awesome build, I look forward to the finshed product.Do you plan on bringing it to the Heartland model show?
Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted June 20, 2007 Author Posted June 20, 2007 Do you plan on bringing it to the Heartland model show? Yes sir!!! This will be my 5th year at Heartland. This car has been on the project table the last two shows, so it will be nice to display the finished product. See you there! P.S. be sure to add your full name in your signature before Jairus, the "Barney Fife" of the Model Cars Magazine Online Forum, busts ya!!!
KENNEDYJR Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 I will be there, but nothing good enough to enter this time.
