Dr. Cranky Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 That is GORGEOUS. The paint is smooth, flawless, in scale. It's going to be one heck of a wonderful model! Keep it going, John.

Dr. Cranky Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Gorgeous work throughout. What a great job on all that black chrome!
Psychographic Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Another beautiful build John. I do have a question, I see what looks like a very stylized turbo and you mention one being mounted, but I see no way the exhaust can mount to it. Am I missing something?
Dr. Cranky Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 More progress, please. Take your vitamins, John, and keep this one going!

Hi david........this model that I am making is a slight replica of this 1:1 bike........I changed it over to a Shovel Head and is probably not accurate........but,I liked the look of the bike and tried to copy the look with a Shovel Head .......I tried to do the best I could with the few pictures that I had.......I stiil have some work to do to it........here are a few pictures that might answer your question......my rendition is not perfect but, good enough for the girl`s I go with .........thank`s for looking.
whale392 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 (edited) NOT a turbo, that is a centrifugal supercharger. By the pics, it is driven on the left side by either an encased gear drive or similar belt system. Now, before all of you get your panties twisted, I am NOT attacking John, so cool it before it begins. I am merely stating WHAT the power adder is. Edited November 10, 2011 by whale392
Dr. Cranky Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Oh, that paint job is going to look great in scale. Keep it going.

bobthehobbyguy Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 John, If you didn't have that block of balsa holding the bike up I would think I was looking at a real bike in some of the pictures. Keep up the good work , looking forward to seeing this one finished. bobthehobbyguy
