Thanks for all the replies so far. I have been doing some research as well as using info from here to compile a list of model cars ( no preassembled) with four doors (including four door wagons) from 1960 to 1980 (my preferred model years) and will post a link when completed. I will also be trying to get picks of as many kits as I can.

Thanks again!

I know it's not within the parameters , but a A M T 1932 Ford Touring and a 1927 Ford Model T Touring were both four door cars too. Ed Shaver

I cant remember who made the 64 Bonneville 4door wagon...wish I could want to make a replica of my moms old wagon. I seen it on e-bay once while looking for parts I need. I may just try to do a conversion on my own if the needed parts show up somewhere. At least i have an old 1964 issue of Motor Trend showing some new wagons for 64 with the Bonneville wagon in it for reference. I am a wagon and 4door nut...always looking for more.

And they were both, um, special looking.

A bit too special for many. Despite they proved to be technically the best of the newfangled Detroit compacts, sales left a lot to be desired. They were extremely popular in Europe though, the most popular American cars until the Mustang came. Survival rate is low though, unfortunately.

Aurora 50 Merc was a 2-door.

What about the Jo-Han Caddy Town Car?

Was this not for 1960-1980?

What about non-American stuff?

Tamiya Jag MKII (strictly speaking it came out in 1959, but it was built throughout most of the Sixties).

Hubley/Entex/Academy Rolls Royce Silver Cloud

Various Heller models, but they all depict pre-1960 cars.

Aoshima Nissan Cedric/Gloria (various)

Aoshima Toyota Crown MS110

Aoshima Toyota Century

I'd dearly love to get hold of such a kit. I do have a '61 Bonneville wagon resin kit (from R&R if I recall correctly) awaiting a build; it shows up often on eBay. But a '64 is what we had in my childhood (a Catalina, actually, but not much difference in wagon form).

I was toying with non-American builds too. I know I have a couple Nissan Skylines in 4 doors, Hasegawa Nissan bluebird - that might be a separate list.

AMT/Union/Wave/Heller Renault Gordini

Heller Renault 4cv (I think that was still made in the 60s)

Tamiya Citroen 2CV

A few Arii kits in 1/32

I should be working on the list.
