I am starting another "Jim Keeler Dodge Fever" style Dragster!

This one is a little different, its based on the Deal's Wheels Z-28 Camaro.

The nose was sectioned about 1/8" and the body was made longer with sheet plastic cut to fit.

I added an extension to the spoiler with sheet plastic.

I collected most of the parts I will need...

The Slixx Skull Decals set the Theme,

The Front Wheels & Tires are from Monograms Stinger Dragster.

The Dual Superchargers are from AMT's 62 Corvette.

The Dropped Front Axle is from the Pie Wagon.

The Skull is from Revell's Evil Iron Trike.

I am going to modify the Skull Deal's Wheels Style.

This is the New Driver!!!

Very cool idea! I wanna see more. What chassis are you gonna put under it?

Thanks!

I am using part of the stock chassis and a Belly Pan.

That actually looks like it could be real. I never thought a Deal's Wheels car could become a non-caricature!

Thanks!

Have you seen the new driver yet? He is going to be a real character!!!

I cut out a rectangle in the hood to house the Twin Superchargers. Then I backed it with sheet plastic.

I didn't care for the Supercharger Scoops that came with the Corvette so I replaced them with Shotgun Scoops from AMT Challenger kits.

I agree, Andy! The way some of today's Pro-Mods are starting to look, I could totally envision this car competing in the class!

I'm REALLY diggin' the way this car is turning out.. Definitely unique and DEFINITELY cool! B)

I made a Belly Pan for the front of the ZZZ-28 from sheet plastic and glued it in place.

Then I cut a groove with a cut-off wheel in the Dremel Tool for the front axle. I used files and sandpaper to clean it up.
