So your father-in-laws car, being a C5, is a 5th generation Corvette. There are plenty of C5 kits out there so I am sure you can replicate his car with little fuss. robertw Posted November 13, 2011 Share Posted November 13, 2011 While it would probably be possible to fit the Revell C6 engine in the engine bay of the C5 kit it's not worth it. The Revell C5 kit is still very easy to find and I suspect would be very cheap on one of the auction sites. As for converting the body and interior, if that is what you're getting at, it would be impossible. seeker589 Posted November 14, 2011 Share Posted November 14, 2011 Both the C5 and C6 had the LS family of motors in them. C5s had the LS1 and the LS6 (in the ZO6). The C6 had the LS2, LS3, LS7, LS9.
