Austin T Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 We all love in the joy of that new kit on the 25th of December. No matter how old you are there has to be atleast one kit you want for the holidays.Mine I want a big box full of spare parts(Never can have too many) and Tamiya's Lambo Contuch kit. What do you guys want?
highway Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 I don't know, but if you really want to ask Santa for a Countach kit, I'd ask for the Italeri or Testors rebox of it over the Tamiya kit anyday!! The Italeri/Testors kit is a full deatil with an engine where the Tamiya is an old motorized "toy" version with just a top piece as a (poor) representation of an engine.
Austin T Posted November 15, 2011 Author Posted November 15, 2011 (edited) Dang it,no engine.I bought it the other day and wraped it up. Edited November 15, 2011 by Austin T
JamesW Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 I would actually prefer the Fujimi Koenig Countach 1/16 (I am and always will be a Countach lover). As for styrene from Santa, I would rather have plastic, in card form, so that I can go to the LHS and buy whatever I want.
robertw Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 The Revell AG London double decker bus with the London taxi cab to park beside it. After typing this I feel an overwhelming desire for Earl Grey tea and scones, LOL. rob

Austin T Posted November 15, 2011 Author Posted November 15, 2011 Kelson I know how you feel about the AMX and the Javelin. I really want to make an "American Racing" version of both, but they are like a gold needle in a hay stack. There hard to find money eaters.
tabsscale1 Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 I don't ever get any models for Christmas or my birthday wife thib\nks i have enough of the already. i did have over 2000 but have been selling them off for the last couple years.
Tony T Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Deluxe 66 Batmobile kit! AMT 76 Gremlin! Just about any other automotive kit anyone would care to give me at Christmas...or cash so I can go to the hobby shop!!
62rebel Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 the whole model shelf from the Drug Fair store circa summer 1974. that's not asking too much.
mikemodeler Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 There are alot of kits on the Revell 2012 release list that sure would be nice to have this year. I doubt Santa will bring me any new kits this year, only coal.
Crazy Ed Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Hummmmm, if Santa's going to drop 'em off then I want both the '70 + '71 Donohue TransAm Javelins. JoHan or AMT'd be fine by me
Dr. Cranky Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I just want more cool subjects (new tools or not) to keep coming to the stores . . . I love me some vans!
Greg Myers Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I always thought a kit from each member of the family (wife, son, daughter) would be neat, just to see what their prospective of me and the hobby are. Never happens. " You have too many!" I can ask my son for anything specifically and he'll get it for me. I did get a Monogram '40 Ford PU from a nephew, quite a few years back. The one I remember most though, was in 1961, seeing the Monogram BIG T under the tree.OH BOY !
Austin T Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 I just want more cool subjects (new tools or not) to keep coming to the stores . . . I love me some vans! You might see some vans on the shelfs soon,AMT is rereleasing some van kits soon.I kinda want the Nirvana van.
High octane Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I DON!T believe in Santa as the Easter Bunny told me not to!
