They go one great, I can not screw up paint jobs when I use Model Master lacquers or the one coats, I would try them out. Now on the other hand, you give me a can of enamel , I will give you a paint bomb. But I am getting good results using enamels with the air brush thinned with lacquer thinner.

I have just received my first gtr kit in a trade . I was trying to come up with a plan for the paint before I start .now after I see your Aston I think I may have found it. Vary nice color.

The P/E parts are good, I am just not a fan of using them, I only use some of them. There are lot trans kits for the GTR, and I thought I about getting one, but they all cost more then the kit does. If you do get a P/E set, make sure its for Tamiya

Here is the body with a few more coats of paint, the body has not been clear coated yet

Vary nice. I know those trans kits are pricy but I have no money spent out of pocket on it plus I missed out on the trans kits back when revell first interduced the civics . I don't want to miss out on one of these. I plan to build it as if it were my 1.1 . I'm just not sure if I care for the orig wheels. I may change them.

I do one day want to use trans kits, just it takes a big bite out of the hobby fund, I would love to do what you are with the GTR and use a trans kits, I have found a few that I really like.

I like the stock wheels on the GTR, but if you are using a trans kit, it would be better with different wheels, and the wheels and tires that come with kit are to big.

I dont think the GTR trans kits are going to go away for awhile, but I could be wrong

I clear coated the Aston, but I need to hit a few areas again, so I will post pics after I do that.

Well, currently not home but these were in the bucket already, was having issues with my internet at home but here in FLA it works A-Okay, sorry.

So to make a short story long. I got everything primed, the body is in paint, just gasing out, the seats are painted, engines painted and the roof is primed, painted, cleared and polished, I think in my opinion it's the best black I've ever painted. PAinted up the wheels too, still gotta add valve stems.
