Looks like they started with Tyrrell F1 Six Wheeler, then, went crazy.

I've seen kits like this on the bay,. They come from different Japanese cartoon series. Some of them are really neat, like this one!

I've actually seen a similar build to that- this one has more replica style markings on it though. The name of the kit/TV show it is from escapes me a the moment. Very cool.

That DOES remind me of Speed Racer. The Japanese are making some very cool (and sometimes strange) kits.

Pretty wild looking ride for sure. Normally I'm not into "crazy" stuff like this, but I think this one actually looks pretty sweet... I'd take it for a spin!

It's from an anime called "Future GPX Cyber Formula." I have one of the kits in my stash, and even wilder car called the "Spiegel."

The driver lies flat inside the main body, and uses a Heads Up Display to see where she is going.
