Was there a head shop in Mr. Roger's neighborhood?

It looks like option B allows for a car repair business; the building second from the right with the big bay door. I'd go with that one.

No but then it has a off sale, book store, bar, and not-tell hotel. So a head shop record store, and such should fit in .

Wow, things have really gone down hill since Fred died. It looks as if he had a much greater influence on the "Neighborhood" than we thought. :D

Actually the other one was titled, "Not Quite Mr. Rogers Neighborhood". Kind of over behind the tracks so to speak.

The funny thing is, I can almost see Tommy Chong guest-starring as Mellow Dave, the record store man.

If it were me, I'd lose the single storey building on the far left and keep all the rest (if the street is long enough!).

I really like "Sleazy Street".

That is actually what it looks like overt on the EAST side of town, near Mack an St.Antione. They found my Impala SS onna street like that, only it DIDN'T have NO houses in a 4 block area!.The car ALSO din't have ANY peices of it left when they found it!Your Dio brings back SUCH pleasant memories! Jeeze, I think I'm tearing up!:D:P;)

Are you going to be hooking this up to a model railway layout or just a "stand alone" dio?

I love the final combination of buildings.

Eventually there will be a train track in the background somewhere, but as a stand alone piece. No power, as I have a dummy engine getting repainted. So basically a stand alone dio.

I have a similar streetscape I did a few years back for my HO layout. Scrapped the layout long ago but still have the street, a church, a hotel, retail stores and a couple of other buildings. Somehow, I just don't have the heart to part with them!

Sorry... didn't mean to hijack your thread.... Keep up the great work.

No problem with the hi-jack here. I would like to see some pics of what you got though.

I know I'm a little late, but if you went for B, could the one with the large garage door be a small Fire/Ambulance station and the corner building next to it be a Police station...

Decide I am going to do all of the buildings in a long block. We have a area downtown her like that.

Hi Junior.

Sent you a PM with some photos.

Tony

Thanks Tony I will check them out.

Made some progress on the base.

Here it matches up with the old section.

This is a front shot of the stret. It is 48 in's. long 11 3/4ths wide.

This is how it should look when together. Have to do the pavement, sidewalks, and alleyway yet.
