GrandpaMcGurk Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Can I come out and play too Doc? If so I'm in.
Danny Lectro Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I'd like to do this, too. I have had an idea for something more "retro-pocalypse," kind of an alternative history, post-alien-invasion rat rod. Would this work in the confines of the contest?
B-dub Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Count me in for sure!!.. I'm also good at randomly chattering and to help keep the build thread from dying what I end up building may not be too pretty or skilled but I'm all for it!
Sixx Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 To answer Doc's question, if I do it right, need to make some practice runs, I will be marketing them!! Might do a package deal...3 or 4 for a said amount, not sure yet. I've been sculpting some stuff, when it's ready, you & Gregg will get the first ones...to keep & review!!! Doc, you got me started on " killing " some figures, just to bring em back from the dead!! That and the show...The Walking Dead!!!!!!!
sweptline64 Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 (edited) as long as It isn't like a couple month build and like 8 months or even a year I'm in already got a glue bomb I was planning this type of build for. But as for timeline I'm a slow builder and also have to have the time to get money to get parts but I would deffinitly be In. Oh and derrick I would also be interested in some of the zombies. Jantrix Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Hmm.................I'm planning on spending this next year finishing up my WIP's before I start something new. And I'm doing great. And then you go an pull this Virgil. You're really killing me here. You know I dig this stuff. I'll see what i can come up with.

Garred, it's going to be a contest that will last the entire year. The winner will be announced in December 2012, and he prizes will be sent out before the 24th of December. So you have plenty of time. Also, I am still ironing out the details. Like I said, I will announce it at the beginning of January, probably no later than the 10th or so. Stay tuned in.
Bastardo Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Already working one one of these monsters: http://www.makete.ne...p?f=138&t=19744 OOB: At the moment: Still some work to be done on the diorama. Can I play along?
Dr. Cranky Posted December 9, 2011 Author Posted December 9, 2011 Oh my, Damir, that last vehicle is AMAZING. Can you post more pictures of it, please. I don't think I had seen it before. Thanks. Derrick, I think that's part of the fun. Please keep us posted, and I think when you get these figures ready there'll be a long line of people waiting to get ZOMBIEFIED!
Dr. Cranky Posted December 9, 2011 Author Posted December 9, 2011 Folks, just to be clear, the contest will start this coming January and I can tell you that you will have to build something completely new!
Sixx Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I'll be sure to let ya know Doc!!!! I've been " playing " with the resin & RTV the last two days!!!!!!!!!
Dr. Cranky Posted December 9, 2011 Author Posted December 9, 2011 Derrick, since you are in the process, remember that one of the 3 or 4 figures should be a driver figure. Wouldn't that be ultra cool? Have a Zombie in the driver's seat. I know Zombie don't drive, but I just think it would be SO COOL! I can't wait to see what you are coming up with!

Dr. Cranky Posted December 9, 2011 Author Posted December 9, 2011 Eelco, I will worry about when Zombies learn to surf!
ZombieHunter26 Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Haha! Cranky, you know I'm in. (I kind of have a head start though ) but I may just start something new for this one, who knows!
Dr. Cranky Posted December 9, 2011 Author Posted December 9, 2011 LOL! I am afraid you'll have to build something new from the start, Rob.
Dr. Cranky Posted December 9, 2011 Author Posted December 9, 2011 Rob, are you sure we are not brothers?
ZombieHunter26 Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 ahahaaaaa thats awesome Doc! I have a thing for cyber-industrial/steampunk stuff... which would probably explain my affinity for drybrushing and rust and rivets
