Daniel Peterson Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Just checking...my CPMCC avatar was deleted a while because of the size...so I subbed my almost famous "Floyd Ploddington" photo.
Monty Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 Hey Floyd, do you shuffle like a constipated bear when you walk?
Yad' Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 Hi Dan'........... Not sure whether this is good or bad? But when I saw your new avitar the first thing I thought was - WOW.... Steven Spielberg!!!! Must be the cap and the beard, don't think I've ever seen him any other way. Not that he shops in my town very often. Yadster.
Randy Kern Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 At that model show where the photo was taken, there must have been a couple hundred people coming up to Dan asking for Mr. Ploddington's autograph. Well, maybe a couple dozen. Okay, at least 10 star struck females. Alright, would you believe a cub scout and his mother?
Steve H. Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Hmmm... Floyd or Spielberg... Can't really decide... :? You're braver than I am... I prefer not to post pics of myself... Scares the little kids! Funny thing is... I pictured you as a well worn, well padded truck driver type!
Daniel Peterson Posted May 23, 2007 Author Posted May 23, 2007 Ok fellas...it's official. My name has legally been changed to Floyd Spielberg and I will be producing an epic film about the automotive customizing industry called Car Wars, starring Robin Williams as Chip Foose and Danny Devito in the role of Boyd Coddington...with a cameo by Harrison Ford and Chevy Chase. Oh, and by the way, that cub scout's mom was freakin' HOT!
lordairgtar Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 I don't even know HOW to put an avatar on the site. Everytime I try, nothing happens. Same with emodelcars, won't work for me.
Lyle Willits Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 I just use the suck-up avatar that advertises the magazine.
Daniel Peterson Posted May 25, 2007 Author Posted May 25, 2007 I just use the suck-up avatar that advertises the magazine. Don't think of it as sucking up...just say you are a partner in a cooperative marketing plan...yeah, that's it. Sounds better than "sucking up".
