I have received all the correct parts to wrap her up, but she's been giving me fits. The chassis seems to not go in all the way, although nothing's blocking it, the HEMI doesn't want to fit in the engine bay, the hood's a tad high, ain't nuttin I can do about that though, I have to redo a small section of foil, the grille doesn't want to fit, the front valance want's to fall out. What in the hell else could possibly go wrong!!!! I don't think an AMT Charger would give as much fits!!!! ARGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This car is about to drive me to drink!!!!

I love the car and that is a great build but its not my flavor of green for that year. I think there was a metallic dark green and a rallye green. One of those was on the car a high school friend of mine had.

any help on those greens would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

joe.

www.autocolorlibrary.com should have all the colors listed and pictured, Joe.

Brandon, I think you should install the tail panel first, and make sure you have a good plastic-to-plastic surface so you get a good bond. I've always inserted the rear edge of the chassis first, then pivoted the chassis into position, with the front edge slipping up into the body last. I don't recall if the front valence panel has to be installed after the chassis or not, as it's been a few years since I built one of these kits.

I have completed my replica of the 1969 Dodge Charger R/T in F8 Green that was professionally restored by RK Motors in Charlotte, NC. My thanks goes out to all who commented and watched me build this wonderful replica! Pics in Under Glass in a bit!
