  4. Awesome. Great color. Can't wait to build mine!
  5. Hey folks! Its been awhile since I've gotten anything done in the last year. Last summer we had a healthy young boy, so as you can imagine-- I've had NO free time! LOL So here is the first kit I've gotten to: the Fujimi 911 Slant nose curbside kit. I still need to touch up a few spots and clear it. But its basically all there. Thanks for checking it out, and I can't wait to cruise the forum and get caught up on all the builds you guys have been working on. Cheers Jr
  6. this is awesome. great job buddy. i'd love to get one of these detail kits.

  9. Hey guys, I just started a Facebook page called "Porsche model builders" for people to share builds, reference pictures and such. Please join and share your builds!
  10. The other posts fail to mention the paint job on your car. It's is awesome.
  11. Sir, I've seen a lot of your builds on here for the past couple of years, I've never posted on any of your threads. Your topics and style are top notch. I'm no expert on the hobby, but the execution of your builds is truly artistic. Can't wait to see more.
  12. Dooode looks awesome. I'm in the sale boat, mines 3 1/2yo.
  13. I know Rich, I don't know. I'm going to build wooden sliding doors, so I think that will make it work. I will distress some of the bricks with different colors. I used the plastruct brick sheet, and sponged on plaster in the cracks. If I don't like it with the doors, I'll make a cinder wall.
  14. Thanks. They come like that. It's a clear resin, I put some of my daughters pink play-doh in it to look like it's got fuel. Cheers
  15. Debating whether to add this brick wall to the side?
  16. Well, i just had a really tough time with the Brumos decals i bought. Bummed. I used Microsol, and they just did not want to cooperate. I guess i will be making a club racer! LOL!
  17. Hey cool build, and back story. I plan on doing this soon with the fujimi prelude kit. I would like to convert it from the right side driver. Nice bench btw.
  18. I got the idea from this cool documentary I saw a while back. Opted for cinder instead of brick. Enjoy it if you haven't seen the video before.
  19. Thanks guys. Didn't do much over the holiday weeks. Hopefully I'll get some time in this weekend. Happy New Years y'all.
  20. eBay buddy. The evil bay. Search dioramas or g scale, there is a plethora of items to add to a dio, if it doesn't make sense to scratch build the item. Since this is my first rodeo, I'm opting to buy some of this stuff. Like the door in the picture. I found that on eBay, next go around I'll try to scratch build it. I feel like the posters are a bit small, I will probably redo them.
  21. http://public.fotki.com/khamilton/models/model_how-to/how-to-make-deterio/ Jamie, here is the "how to" I followed by ken Hamilton. I used plaster of Paris, and the results were pretty good. There are some bubbles in the wall and floors. I did it 3 times, and I could not get rid of them. So I'm just gonna go with it. I also cracked the floor, but I think I'll be able to hide it with the lift . I found it to be simple. Just set your stuff up, mix and pour. Don't wait because the plaster dries fast.
