Kaleb Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 (edited) I tried posting the picture but it would no allow me to use the extension so I will have to do with the link . Yes I know its off topic. I don't know who gets this comic strip but Diamond lil is hilarious. Check this one out. http://cdn.svcs.c2.u...d5b?width=900.0 Edited December 15, 2011 by Kaleb
Tony T Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 LOL! Thanks...hadn't seen that strip before!
sjordan2 Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 No offense, but maybe this is a Facebook thing and not for this forum.
kenb Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I thought this was the GENERAL forum, where you can discuss and post about anything that's on you're mind. Was that cartoon inappropriate? I thought it was great. Face book? Ken
sjordan2 Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 (edited) I thought this was the GENERAL forum, where you can discuss and post about anything that's on you're mind. Was that cartoon inappropriate? I thought it was great. Face book? Ken I suppose you could post your memoir of your great-aunt's needlepoint work here, but I don't know what that has to do with the subjects of this forum, which would be cars, car modeling and the modeling experience. I can't figure out why the comic strip was funny enough to make a special post, regardless of subject. I now withdraw from this discussion. Edited December 15, 2011 by sjordan2
Jon Cole Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 By “General”, it means topics that are model car related… that do not fit in any other category. Not… cartoons, needlework, etc. If not a member of Facebook, maybe it is time to join? That would be a far more appropriate place to post O/T than here.
RodneyBad Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 But that was Dang Funny any whoos.. :D Thanks..
Darin Bastedo Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 (edited) I don't mind an occasional off topic post, but prefacing it with "OT" is customary, either way, yes that is a very funny strip. Edited December 16, 2011 by Darin Bastedo
kenb Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 I thought it was funny and didn't really bother me even if it was off topic. I posted about putting future polish on the floor the other day and got 2 pages of positive replies. Had nothing to do about models. There's a post about bicycles, music, guitars etc, etc here that has 100's of replies. Sometimes you have to have a little and have a little laugh. It never hurts anyone. Ken
Harry P. Posted December 16, 2011 Posted December 16, 2011 Sometimes you have to... have a little laugh. It never hurts anyone. Ken I agree.
Mercman Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 I can relate to the cartoon somewhat. I used to be a bouncer at a drive-in movie theater back in the 70's. Man some of the things I saw!!!!
