carsntrucks4you Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Here the first picture of my conversion of Revell's RML to a RM. I'm going to build one of those RM's that were shipped to Sri Lanka
chuckyr Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 So in fact it is a 1/24th scale kit, after the standard complain about a new model kit before it's release. The Routemaster looks to be another solid bus kit. It seems Revell is serious about the developing bus series. I hope there next kit is a North American style kit. Nice start to your project.
monkeyclaw Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 I saw the prototype of this model at the NNL south; must say Revell have done a great job with this kit. Even though I don't really build down scale anymore; I'm still gonna have to get a couple of these! It's just TOO funky not to build..............and your doing great work on it....Matt
Hessel Hemstra Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 The bus kit comes with two engine types. One is a Leyland engine for models that were build until 1996. The second engine is a Scania for models build after 1996. There is also a large sheet with decals in the box. As a builder of trucks it is not really my cup of tea but it is for sure a wonderful model with Revell taking a gamble about sales. It has about 350 parts so no one should be out of work. Hessel

Jim B Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 (edited) I coulda swore I just saw Harry Potter in the window lol. Cool build, is this 1/25? Chad You'd need another deck, and it'd have to be purple for the Night Bus. Cool idea, though. Wonder how to make the chandelier? Edited April 5, 2012 by Jim B
