plasticbutcher Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I lived in Utah, in that area----this is not a surprise those people drive like NUTS, Glad we moved back here to Mo.
Erik Smith Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 What? That ordinary Joe won a Lamborghini, then lost control on his first outing? That's too funny! The insurance in that thing must be atrocious. Lucky he didn't hit somebody.
Bridgebuster Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Yeah, but he was only going 35 or 40. Yeah, right. What an idiot.
Austin T Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Well at least he enjoyed the 3.3 seconds it takes to go from zero to repair shop.
plasticbutcher Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Crazy Mormons! Hey Harry we are not ALL that crazy-- HAHAHAHA
SuperStockAndy Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Crazy Mormons! My name is David Dopp, and I'm a Mormon. Great, so now THAT commercial will be back
moparmagiclives Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 If in fact he was going 40 to 50 mph, that doest say much for $200k all wheel drive cars. I had a $8k plymouth laser AWD that would skate at 40 all day long. Must be nice I guess, Wish I could say I wrecked a Lambo
moparmagiclives Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 so quick to judge Not us ...... Utahs finest. "The police report says the car went over a curb, off the road and 75 feet into the field, calling the accident "speed related."
Guest Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 It doesn't matter what you're driving when you hit black ice,you are going to go for a ride! If it were me, I would sell it for whatever I could get out of it and go buy something I would actually want to drive and bank the rest of the money.
SuperStockAndy Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 You waste of skin. I'm quite confused from that statement.
VW Dave Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 You waste of skin. Whoa....is the Lambo-BAMbo guy your dad or something? His last name is spelled D-o-p-p, but I bet it's pronounced 'dope.' Over a curb and 75 feet into a field at only 40mph? NOT.
Rick Schmidt Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 (edited) Lol I like how nobody here has ever lost control of their car on ice and spun out And 75 Foot aint very far ... What 4 car lengths ?? Edited December 21, 2011 by Rick Schmidt
moparmagiclives Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 (edited) Lol I like how nobody here has ever lost control of their car on ice and spun out And 75 Foot aint very far ... What 4 car lengths ?? Nope !!! I've never put my brand new $200k Lambo over the curb and 25 yards into a field.. Thats pretty far for a car to run, after coming over a curb I'm guessing sideways..a little far for 40mph anyway. Maybe I'm wrong though Edited December 21, 2011 by moparmagiclives
Jordan White Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Jalopnik is reporting that it may have been intentional in order to get insurance money so he could pay for the taxes on the car. http://jalopnik.com/5870057/did-a-man-intentionally-wreck-this-lamborghini-six-hours-after-he-won-it
Rick Schmidt Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Well considering it said the oil pan and bumper I'd assume it went in backwards not sideways. and 75 foot aint far for one to go .. Just measure skidmarks at an intersection those happen on dry pavement. Ice is a whole new animal Last year I spun my pickup on ice did about the same as he did spun and went off the road backwards I'm pretty sure I went farther than 75 foot off the road

I dont know why he would think its even close to being totaled though. The whole things just goofy, guess thats why they say there are three sides to every story, " yours, mine and the truth"
